Please fill out the following form to complete your course registration and billing. Completion of fields marked with an asterisk (*) is mandatory. If the data you supply are missing or incomplete, we will not be able to accept your registration.

Due to export control regulations that are currently in effect, these requirements also include declaration of your citizenship as well as your work/research focus.

All other data are optional, but may be used, for example, to issue a certificate of attendance (title), to facilitate easy contact (phone, fax) or to track statistics (gender,institute/department in Personal Details).

The legal basis for data collection is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) in connection with Art. 6 para. 3 GDPR in connection with ยง 4 LDSG BW.

Access to online course recordings and use of email address

Regulations due to the COVID-19 pandemic (updated Dec 07, 2021)

This course is planned to take place at HLRS. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you will have to accept the following conditions (COVID-19 conditions) to participate in the course.
You are only allowed to participate in the course if you provide one of the following and an official photo ID (e.g. passport, ID card).
  • A valid vaccination or recovery certificate (less than 6 months old) or,
  • a valid vaccination certificate (older than 6 months) or,
  • if no 2G rules (vaccinated or recovered only) are in force at the University of Stuttgart, a negative test result on each day (valid for the duration of the day's lectures; an antigen rapid test is valid 24 hours after testing, a PCR test 48 hours after testing)

To participate
  • with a valid vaccination certificate, you have to show us the original vaccination certificate (digital green certificate) in German or English (it has to show a QR-code) showing that the vaccination process has been completed at least 14 days prior to the start of the event; if it is less than 6 months old, you have to additionally show a negative COVID-19 antigen rapid or PCR test result on the first day (not necessary if you can provide a certificate that you have got a booster shot at least 14 days prior to the start of the event) and, if older than 6 months, a negative COVID-19 antigen rapid or PCR test result on each day (for details on tests, see point 'with a negative test result' below; self-tests are only acceptable under special circumstances),
  • with a recovery certificate, you have to show us a personalized certificate in German or English stating that you have been tested on COVID-19 positively (PCR test) between 6 months prior to the end of the event and 28 days prior to the start of the event and additionally show us a negative COVID-19 rapid or PCR test result on the first day (for details on tests, see point 'with a negative test result' below; self-tests are only acceptable under special circumstances),
  • with a negative test result, you have to show us on each day a personalized document in German or English issued by an official testing facility and stating that you have been tested negatively on COVID-19. On the first and third day of the course (if the course consists of more than two days), we require a PCR test. For all other days, a test based on in vitro diagnostics with a certified test kit for direct testing on SARS-CoV-2 is sufficient, e.g. a COVID-19 rapid antigen test. The test may not take place more than 24 hours (48 hours in case of a PCR test) before the expected end of the respective course day. There will be no possibility to do tests at HLRS. We do not accept self-tests if you choose to participate with tests only! You might be forced to go to self isolation if tested positively according to current German law. We reserve the right to cancel registrations of participants who choose to provide tests up to 14 days before the course begins. Please note that participation with tests is depending on the legal situation and rules when the course takes place and might not be allowed at the start of the course or even during course.

Further you have to accept that

  • you will not be allowed to enter HLRS and other university buildings and thus will be unable to participate in the course if
    • you are subject to an order for quarantine related to COVID-19 or
    • you have the typical symptoms of COVID-19 namely fever, dry or new cough, loss of smell and taste,
  • you have to wear an FFP2 face mask (medical masks are insufficient) everywhere on-site except while drinking or eating,
  • eating and drinking is only allowed outside the building and only while keeping a distance of more than 1.5 m to other participants,
  • we might be forced to adapt these conditions due to changed rules of the University of Stuttgart or changed laws or governmental ordinances to prevent the spreading of COVID-19,
  • at any time and at short notice, the course might be changed to an online course, if viable, or postponed or cancelled, if necessary.
